• Collected Personal Information: None.
• Protection of Passwords and Connection Information: Any addresses, account names, and passwords you enter within the App to access SMB (Server Message Block) network shares are stored exclusively in the secure local storage of your device in an encrypted format. This information is never transmitted to the developer or any external server.
• Media File Data: All video files played through the App and metadata such as playback history are processed entirely within your local device and are never leaked to external parties.

2. Network Communication and External Service Integration

The App performs only the minimum network functions and local network discovery necessary for user convenience.

• App Update Verification (Version Check)

  To compare and verify the latest version when launched or when requested by the user, the App communicates with the following secure dedicated endpoint:

  During this communication, no personally identifiable information or unique device identifier is transmitted. The App only sends and receives basic app version data for comparison.

• Local Network Discovery and Streaming (SMB & DLNA)

  The App uses local network communication permissions to discover and stream media directly from home servers, NAS, or DLNA servers located within your local network (LAN/Wi-Fi). This function operates strictly within the local network specified by the user and never transmits your file information over the external Internet.

3. Transparency on Device Permissions

GXR Player may request specific permissions on your mobile device to perform its core features. None of these permissions will ever be used or abused for any purpose other than those described below.

• Network Permissions (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE)
  Purpose: To support video streaming via SMB/DLNA servers and perform app version updates.
• Spatial Computing / XR Permissions (Android XR SceneCore)
  Purpose: To render stereoscopic video in 3D virtual spaces and handle motion perception via head tracking.
  Description: Raw camera sensor data or high-precision tracking data is securely handled and processed solely by the device's built-in Android XR operating system. The App does not process, modify, or transmit this data to external servers.

4. Retention and Destruction of Personal Information

Since GXR Player does not collect or store your personal information, there is no data to retain or destroy. However, when you delete the App, all SMB connection logs and cache data stored in the App's local storage are automatically and permanently deleted by the device operating system (OS).

5. Children's Privacy

GXR Player is not structured to attract children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.
